How To Remove Subtitles If Using A Media IPTV Set Top Box
To disable IPTV if you are using an encoded media IPTV set-top box you will need to follow the below steps.
- Press the menu button on your remote
- Choose the Settings menu
- Go to subtitles and turn them off

IPTV Smarters Pro doesn’t have a subtitles section in the apps section but to get rid of the subtitles you will need to do the below.
- Go into settings
- Choose Player Setting
- Choose Native
- Save and restart the IPTV Smarters app
After you have done the above you will now see when playing the streams a setting where you can either turn on or off the subtitles on that IPTV channel.
How To Disable The Subtitles On A Mag Box
- When Viewing the IPTV channel press the app button on the mag box remote control
- You will now be able to turn ON or OFF the subtitles for that one IPTV stream

Subtitles Won’t Turn Off Even After Disabling The Subtitle Setting
If you have done the above for your choosen device and are still seeing subtitles on a certain IPTV channel then this will be because the subtitles are hardcoded into the stream itself so there is nothing you can do on your end.
The best thing to do is send your IPTV provider an email about this specific channel and see if they can resolve the issue on their side.
Can I Get Teletext On IPTV?
Unfortunately, you can not receive Teletext due to it being made for terrestrial television and some satellite/cable-based boxes.
