If you own an Asus router then there are certain settings you can use which will help give you a better less buffering and freezing IPTV experience.

In our latest article what is IPTV Asus Router we will be showing you how to tweak a few settings on your Asus router to get the best out of your IPTV subscription.

What Is The IPTV Setting On A Asus Router

If you have entered the settings on your Asus router through your web browser you may have noticed an IPTV setting but are unsure what this actually does.

IPTV is delivered over something called IP multicast using IGMP (Internet Group Management Protocol) which is a protocol that allows IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) to receive signals from live TV broadcasts which is similar to receiving satellite and cable live TV.

Using an IP multicast is very similar to VLAN in the sense it isolates devices on the internet provider’s network.

We will be covering how to turn on the IPTV setting in your Asus router below to make sure you get the best IPTV experience.
